About Us

Lost in the Supermarket is a Virginia-based tribute to the music and legacy of the Clash.

Why the Clash?

They didn’t invent punk rock. But they redefined it, gave it direction, and made it mean something. The Clash became known as “the only band that matters” because they had a mission.

It’s hard to call four working-class blokes rock “royalty,” but that’s exactly what they became. They inspired countless bands that followed in their footsteps including U2, Bad Religion, Rage Against the Machine, MIA, Black Flag, Stiff Little Fingers, Rancid, Living Color, and Green Day. More→

And they brought their brand of “rebel rock” to the masses elevating punk rock and putting it on a global stage.
